If you are already licensed as a registered nurse, you can go through the Baker University School of Nursing's accelerated RN-to-BSN program to become a baccalaureate-prepared nurse. The program allows these students to obtain a Bachelor of Science in nursing through 30 credit hours of study. This degree option is for registered nurses only.
Completion of a minimum of 128 semester hours of college work is required to complete the Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree 62 credit hours of pre-requisite courses and 66 credit hours of nursing courses
Satisfactory completion of the Upper-Division Baccalaureate Nursing Degree program of study, 66 semester hours, with a minimum grade point average of 2.0 and a minimum grade of "C" in all nursing courses. All nursing course work is offered only at the Stormont-Vail Campus.
A minimum of 30 credit hours in the Upper-Division Nursing Program must be completed in the Baker University School of Nursing.

All admission materials must be on file in the Student Affairs office at least two months before the beginning of the semester. (Late applications will be accepted on a space available basis.) It is the responsibility of the applicant to assure that his/her file is complete. The Student Affairs Committee selects students from applicants who best meet requirements listed below.
Each new applicant must obtain written guidelines from the School of Nursing explaining specific program requirements which have been adopted since the catalog was printed.

Registered nurses (RNs) with a diploma or an associate degree in nursing (refer to Admissions Requirements and Transfer Credit for specifics) may earn a bachelor of science degree in nursing through Southwestern College Professional Studies.
