A completed FAFSA Application is required to receive any financial aid — including scholarships, grants and loans – for federal financial assistance.
2009-2010 FAFSA Application Available Soon!
Students can begin filling out the 2009-2010 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) beginning January 1, 2009. The FAU priority deadline is March 1, 2009. All applications received after that date will be reviewed in order of receipt. Apply online to save time and effort. When filling out the application, make sure to complete the planned housing code (on Step 6, Housing Plan, on your FAFSA form) with your appropriate housing status, since leaving this section blank could result in underfunding.
Need Financial Aid for Summer 2009 Terms?
Students may request financial aid for the SUMMER 2009 terms beginning February 2, 2009 exclusively on Self-Service via MyFAU. Apply early because funds will be available on a first-come first-served basis. Click here for more details and eligibility on SUMMER 2009 Financial Aid.

The Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing offers three programs leading to the baccalaureate degree:
Traditional Program: A two-year upper division program. This program is offered at our Boca Campus.
Accelerated Program: A one- year full-time program for students who have a bachelor's
The Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing administers supplemental scholarship support for eligible, fully admitted undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students with financial need. These scholarships are awarded for the Fall and Spring semesters. Look for announcements at the end of the Spring semester to apply for the following academic year.

At Northwest Florida State College, we are committed to providing financial assistance for students to further their education. The financial resources of the students and their families should not limit educational opportunities. Northwest Florida State College provides a comprehensive student financial aid program consisting of scholarships, grants, loans, and employment. Aid is based on individual need, educational costs, availability of funds, and in some cases, merit. Funds may be limited, so students are encouraged to apply for financial aid by the advertised priority deadlines.
Northwest Florida State College has traditionally offered classes with tuition rates at or near the lowest in the state. All courses offered by Northwest Florida State College carry Northwest Florida State College fees.
The usual forms of state and federal financial aid are available to qualifying students, including Military Tuition Assistance, Pell grants, Stafford Loans, Veteran's Assistance, Northwest Florida State College student loans and the Florida Student Assistance Grants. The Master of Science in Nursing Degree with a major in Nursing Administration prepares nurses to assume the increasingly demanding responsibilities of managing the delivery of care at all levels of health service organizations. Based on sound theoretical foundations, the curriculum focuses on the practical aspects of dealing with numerous forces affecting the provision of health care. Didactic and case-based approaches offer the student multiple opportunities to synthesize the body of nursing knowledge and managerial precepts appropriate in a health care setting. Particular emphasis is placed upon organizational behavior, financial management, and the nurse's ability to impact the public policy

Private Donor Scholarships
Many organizations, businesses, civic groups and individuals offer scholarships to students and typically have their own application process and choose their own recipients. Often, the MCC financial aid office is asked by these donors to assist in making information and applications available to our students.
