The College Council
The College Council is the highest authority of the college. The Council holds regular meetings to discuss issues that need decisions to be made at the level of College Council or issues that need to be submitted to the President of University or the University Council for authorization.

I. General Provisions
Purpose and Scope
§ 1 This order regulates the shortened bachelor degree nursing science at the Medical
Faculty (hereafter Department), University of Basle.

It applies to all students at the University of Basle in Nursing Science

§ 2 The faculty awards a Bachelor of Science passed the diploma "bachelor of
The programme admits both male & female, Bahraini & Non Bahraini Nationality.
The Admission requirements includes: completion of 12 years of general education in the science stream with a minimum overall grade of 80%. Pass an entrance English examination. Students will also sit for a personal interview, the interpersonal attributes and interest to join the profession of nursing will be determined. All applicants must pass a medical health examination.
Basic Education Requirements
a) Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) - candidates must pass SPM examination or equivalents examination with a credit in Malay Language/Malay Language Syllabus/Malay Language II
b) Professional Education Requirement - candidates must hold a nursing or medical assistant certificate/diploma
c) English Language Requirement - candidates must pass Malaysian University English Test (MUET) with at least Band 3 before registering for this program
Other Requirements
Candidate must meet minimum qualification for requirements as below :
a) 3 years experience as a state registered nurse or registeded medical assistants
b) registered with Malaysian Nursing Board or Medical Assistant Board with recent practicing certificate

Nursing care is a science based on practices. In practical settings, nursing is done to match for aiding patients' needs through providing care with creative, skillful, and unique nursing practice methods. You will study the foundations for nursing practices that are the based for the care.
Further, this is a class to develop and study basic nursing practices. Here the nursing practices are studied to make it the base of practical works such as care techniques for daily life, care techniques in medical treatment, and application of nursing care.
