Nursing Degrees Online

Regis University, a U.S. News & World Report top-ranked university, offers an online degree program that helps nurses fast-track their way to earning both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and a Master of Science in Nursing degree. Working in partnership with The College Network, Regis University’s bridge program provides flexibility for today’s busy nurse. The College Network offers Comprehensive Learning Modules (CLMs) that work in tandem with Regis University’s curriculum. This format enables learners to work at an independent pace and become familiar with the process of online learning.
RN to MS in Nursing (Bridge Program)

Through the RN to MS in Nursing program, learners can earn as many as 62 credit hours of undergraduate general education coursework and six hours of graduate-level coursework using The College Network’s CLMs—saving time and money. Upon completion of each undergraduate CLM, earn college credit (“test out”) by passing end-of-course college equivalancy exams such as CLEP®, DSST®, or the Excelsior College® Examination. Upon completion of graduate–level CLMs, comprehensive exams are taken to earn college credit. These credits are then transferred, and learners complete the remaining portion of the program, including online courses, directly through Regis University.

Official transcripts from high school(s) (or GED). Students who have submitted transcripts that document a fully accredited associate in arts, bachelor’s or higher degree are not required to submit a high school transcript, unless it documents completion of two consecutive years of one foreign language.
Official transcripts from college(s) currently or previously attended.
Official transcripts showing an A.S. Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution or a diploma in nursing accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
A copy of a valid, unrestricted, unencumbered RN license from the state in which the applicant is practicing, to be kept current throughout the duration of the required course of study.
Completion of all college preparatory coursework, computer competency requirement and a minimum of fifteen (15) semester hours of transferable general education coursework.
Cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale in all postsecondary coursework.

This program of study consists of 2 years of general education coursework in which candidates receive an Associate of Arts (A.A.) Degree. Graduates will also complete 2 years of nursing courses at transferring institution to qualify for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) Degree. After successful completion of the above, graduates are eligible to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN)

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is consistent with the Emory University philosophy that students be broadly educated. The BSN program extends through four academic years and occurs in two parts:
Part One: Prerequisites
The first two years of general education coursework (including prerequisites) are taken at Emory College, Oxford College, or any accredited college or university. The prerequisite courses consist of Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Elective courses that must total 60 semester hours.
Part Two: Nursing
The second two years are taken at Emory University’s Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing. The nursing program is designed to be completed in four semesters of full-time enrollment once students enroll in the School of Nursing.
Graduates of the School of Nursing are eligible to take the NCLEX examination in any of the United States. Graduates develop innovative roles, advance nursing as a field, and serve as exemplary role models for excellence in nursing practice throughout the world.
