Financial Aid of Nursing at Ohio Dominican College

The decision to invest in a high quality education for your future may be one of the most important decisions you and your family will ever make. At Ohio Dominican, we believe that your college choice should be based on the quality of academic programs and opportunities available to you. We also recognize that costs and finances are important factors and play a significant role in your final choice.

Education is an investment. While Ohio Dominican’s tuition is modest in comparison to most private universities, many families from a wide range of incomes benefit from the University’s financial assistance programs.
Over 90% of Ohio Dominican students received some form of financial assistance in 2007-2008.
Over $40 million was awarded to our students from University, federal, state and private resources.
The average aid offer including scholarships, grants, loans and employment was $23,130. Aid offers ranged from $660 - $32,050.
Our scholarship programs are particularly helpful to students who may not qualify for need-based aid programs.

Financial Aid of Nursing at Northwestern College Iowa

A college education is an investment—an investment that impacts not only your earning power over the course of your lifetime, but more importantly, the kind of person you will become. At Northwestern, you’ll gain the critical thinking, communication and decision-making skills employers are looking for. You’ll also develop a greater understanding of God’s work and your place in the world so you can make a difference with your life.

It’s not enough for Northwestern to offer added value, however. There’s also the question of how to pay for a private college education. That’s where we can help. This past year, we awarded over $25 million in financial aid to 100 percent of our students—in aid packages that average more than $18,800 and that range from $1,500 to $23,000.

The point is, don’t assume you can’t afford Northwestern. Rather than comparing the cost of tuition, compare your actual costs after financial aid. We have students who are paying less at Northwestern than they would at a state university.

Don’t limit yourself. Let us show you what it will really cost you to attend Northwestern. Apply for admission and fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). (Our FAFSA code is 001883.) Find out for yourself why Northwestern has consistently been listed by an independent research firm as one of the nation’s best buys in colleges.

Scholarships of Nursing at North Central College Illinois

One of the best ways to finance an education is through scholarships. They are awarded based on requirements other than financial need, and they do not need to be repaid. However, scholarships are considered a financial resource and are part of your award package. We offer many different scholarships, whether you’re a first-year or transfer student, or continuing your education.

We frequently receive announcements from outside agencies and organizations about various scholarships, and we will post this information in the Office of Financial Aid as well as the Harold and Eva White Activities Center. Check these postings regularly. In addition, websites such as Fastweb.com and finaid.org offer free scholarship search opportunities.

Financing Your Education at University of Pittsburgh at Bradford

“The University of Pittsburgh is a very well-known and respected school that I will be very proud to have a degree from. I feel that my education here will allow me great opportunities for graduate school and for future employment.” — Lisa Moeke, an environmental studies major from Bradford.

As Lisa said, the value of a Pitt-Bradford education — and a degree from the University of Pittsburgh — goes far beyond dollars and cents. It influences your career, your dreams and your future.

That’s why we do our best to keep Pitt-Bradford affordable. We keep our tuition and housing fees competitive to other area institutions. And we offer a wide variety of merit- and need-based scholarships to qualified students.

The best part? It’s working. In fact, more than 91 percent of our students receive some form of financial aid through grants, loans, work study, or scholarships.

For the 2007-08 school year, the average award was $12,800, meaning most students paid much less than you might expect for a quality education and a degree from a world-renowned institution.
