Doctorate in Nursing at Universidad Nacional Andrés Bello Chile
The Graduate Program leading to PhD in Nursing, is an effort by the School of Nursing of the Universidad Andrés Bello, who had the support of academics from national and foreign universities with graduate programs equivalent with whom the University has cooperation agreements, as well as other academic units of the University Andres Bello who grow to know that interest in nursing education in this way by integrating an interdisciplinary dimension.
Nursing as a science, promotes the advancement and development of scientific capacity
education in its different roles, has a particular object of study itself and a body of knowledge on the human, family and community knowledge constructed from human care, mark of the profession, which allows the nurse inserted in different areas of health.
Objectives
The Ph.D. program in Nursing is a new and exchange between researchers and experts in the field of knowledge of nursing care, to encourage the exchange of ideas, critical thinking skills to generate original, scientific, technological and humanistic constituting significant contributions in nursing and health.
The purpose of this program is to train independent researchers for the construction and development of nursing skills that transform the practice and contributing to the improvement of the health problems and their management.
Aimed at
People with Bachelor degree in Nursing or its equivalent. Possession of a Masters degree in Nursing is an additional advantage.
