- A multi-faculty environment drawing on clinical and academic expertise in healthcare from a number of world leading university schools and hospitals providing an unparalleled interprofessional learning experience.
The programme builds on a practitioner’s existing skills and experience to enable them to lead and support the development and subsequent delivery of evidence-based practice. These options include modules on clinical specialities such as cardiac care, orthopaedics, diabetes or gastro-intestinal nursing and modules on generic topics such as mentorship and teaching. Students will also be able to utilise their previous clinical experience as credits in clinical portfolios where they are given the opportunity to analyse and critique their clinical practice.
The programme will include up to 20 days of specially arranged clinical observation in the UK eg nurse-led clinics, specialist nurse practice.
All students will be required to complete a dissertation that may take a number of different formats; these include options particularly suited to nurses from overseas.
