High School Students Must Complete the Following:
Submit an application for admission. BONUS - Apply on-line and your application fee will be deferred until registration. You have nothing to lose and so much to gain!
Submit a $35 non-refundable application fee if applying using our paper application.
Submit official high school transcripts. Ask your guidance counselor to send your transcripts to Mount Marty college. A final and official transcript must be received after your high school graduation.
Submit an official college transcript of any college courses taken while in high school.
Take the ACT or SAT test and request that results be sent to MMC. MMC’s ACT code is 3914 and SAT code is 6416.
Complete the FAFSA. Request your Student Aid Report to be sent to MMC for financial assistance. MMC’s FAFSA code is 003465.
Of course, your Mount Marty Enrollment Counselor is always ready to be of service if you have any questions or need assistance at any point during the admission, financial aid, or registration process.

The MS in Nurse Anesthesia is offered in conjunction with Nazareth Hospital. It is designed for nurses who desire to study the educative and administrative aspects of health care as well as focus on the science of anesthesiology. The core courses are taught by Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and Anesthesiologists atthe hospital site. Health Education and Administration courses are taught by the University faculty on the main campus.
Application Procedure
Interested students must contact Nazareth Hospital School of Anesthesiology (215-335-6217) in order to obtain an application to the program; applications are submitted directly to the Hospital School, as opposed to the University.
The following documentation is required as part of the application file:
A completed application form from the appropriate School of Anesthesia, accompanied by a non-refundable application fee,
Complete and official transcripts of all coursework from nursing school, undergraduate and graduate school attended, with a minimum of a baccalaureate degree in nursing form a National League for Nursing (NLN) accredited program. Registered nurses may have earned a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate science other than nursing.
Two letters of recommendation attesting to the student’s clinical experience and ability for graduate study.
Current resumé, which includes evidence of at least one year’s nursing experience in critical care,
Current GRE scores.
Upon acceptance to the Hospital School, students are required to submit an application and the required fee to Saint Joseph’s University. Application supporting documents, including transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc. will be sent to Saint Joseph’s directly from the Hospital School to complete the student’s University file. Students who are newly accepted will be offered the opportunity to begin University course requirements prior to full-time enrollment in the Hospital School.

Programs begin three times each year, with start dates scheduled in January, May and August. The master’s programs run on a year-round basis, completing in approximately 16-17 months. However, classes may be delayed to the next term if there is insufficient enrollment at a particular location. Ideal cohort size is 8-12 students. ASAP students are considered full time for financial aid purposes.
Admissions Criteria
Completion of a baccalaureate degree at an accredited institution.
Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (based on 4.0 scale). Applicants lacking the minimum GPA may apply for a conditional admissions status. Completion of six credit hours at a grade of B (3.0) or better removes the conditional status.
Age 25 or older.
Work experience relevant to management, supervision, team skills, or technical competence.
Written and verbal skills necessary to function in a collaborative learning environment.
Admissions Process
The graduate admissions process is self-managed. Candidates for admission will complete and assemble a folder containing all required documents for admission. When complete, forward to the Center for Professional Studies Admissions Office, One Keuka Business Park, Penn Yan, NY, 14527. Incomplete application folders will not be reviewed. Instructions are included with the application form.
The completed application packet must include:

Professional statement and essay as described on the application form.
Official transcripts for each college or university attended.

A personal interview is optional but may be required at the discretion of the program director.

Hold a current license to practice as an RN in New York State
Be employed in a nursing position for at least 20 hours per week for the duration of the program
Complete prerequisite requirements
Additional requirement for B.S. program in Social Work
Be employed in the Human Services field in a direct care situation for minimum of 20 hours per week and will be required to verify their employment status at the beginning of COM 320

Application Process
Candidates are encouraged to apply early in order facilitate the planning process for both student and Keuka College. Application deadline is the first day of the month in which classes are scheduled to start. For example, applications are due on August 1 for classes beginning in August. Late applications will be considered based on cohort enrollment.
Complete the ASAP Application for Admission form to the Keuka College Center for Professional Studies, One Keuka Business Park, Penn Yan, NY 14527.
Send a transcript request form to each educational institution previously attended. Be sure to check with the registrar’s office of each institution for the cost of their transcript fee. After transcripts have been received and evaluated by the Keuka College registrar’s office, candidates will receive an “Evaluation of Transfer Credit” by mail.
Apply for financial aid (if applicable). This should be completed at the time of application. Failure to apply on a timely basis may delay the financial aid award and start of program.
Registration and Startup
Upon acceptance to the program, candidates will be mailed a registration form, which must be signed and returned prior to attending orientation.
Orientation will take place at the Keuka College campus in Keuka Park on a date determined prior to the start of each term.
Conditional Acceptance
Students with fewer than 60 credits may apply to either the criminal justice systems, organizational management, social work or nursing programs. Acceptance is based on completion and submission of an educational plan that details how and when additional coursework will be completed. Applicants are required to meet and/or discuss the details of this plan with the enrollment coordinator.
Additional coursework required for conditional acceptance is in addition to the course curriculum. Applicants recognize there are additional costs and time commitments required for these courses.
Other considerations that may be evaluated include writing skills, work history, and evaluation of transfer credit.

Applicants must be actively registered in Canada as a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse with a practice permit and eligibility to write the Canadian Registered Nurse Exam (CRNE).

1. The College Admissions Office handles all new student applications. There is a one-time non‑refundable application fee for all students new to GRCC. Students who have attended GRCC previously need to fill out a curriculum plan code change form at the Enrollment Center office or with the Health Admissions Coordinator in 5th floor, College Park Plaza Building. Students will be assigned to curriculum code 329 at the time of application. This code means “Advanced Standing status (ADS) –admission requirements incomplete”.
2. Transfer credit for courses taken at other colleges are valid only when granted in writing by the Grand Rapids Community College Registrar and will be based only on an official college transcript sent directly to Grand Rapids Community College.

ALL STUDENTS MUST APPLY TO THE NURSING MAJOR.
40 students are admitted each SPRING SEMESTER (January).
Admission to the nursing major is very competitive, and meeting the admission criteria does not assure acceptance into the program.
Transfer Students
Priority for admission into the nursing major will be given to George Fox students already in the system. A George Fox student has attended for at least one year (two semesters) prior to submitting an application to the nursing major.
It is strongly urged that you contact a nursing department advisor prior to application. Contact Elaine Smith to set up an appointment with an advisor.
One must be admitted to George Fox University BEFORE applying to the nursing major. Please apply to the university at least one month prior to applying to the nursing department to assure ample processing time. This process is completely separate from the nursing application and should be treated as such. Contact the Admissions Office for more information.
ALL prerequisite transfer classes MUST be accepted by the university BEFORE applying to the nursing program.
$50.00 non-refundable application fee. Make check or money order payable to: GFU-Department of Nursing. NOTE: This is in addition to the university application fee.
Must submit a copy of all transcripts of courses completed at colleges other than George Fox University.

Nursing Progression Criteria
Continuation in the nursing program is dependent on satisfactory academic performance and the demonstration of the character and ethics needed for success in the profession. Students must:
Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better
Attain grades of C or better in all professional course work
Satisfactory evaluations of performance in clinical experiences
Nursing students are responsible to read and are subject to the policies and procedures contained in the Department of Nursing Student Handbook.

To be considered for admission, applicants should have an earned GPA of 2.0 in a college preparatory curriculum or better (2.5 GPA for Nursing, Vet Tech, Vet Science, Pre-Vet and Equine Studies/Basic Sciences applicants). Complete applications will include:
A completed application for admission and a $30 non-refundable application fee. Checks or money orders should be made payable to “Becker College.”
An official copy of the secondary school transcript sent directly to Becker College. Students who have received a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) must forward an official score report. Freshman admission is contingent upon the applicant’s final graduation from high school or successful completion of the GED. Applicants will need to have a final transcript submitted to Becker College following the release of final grades.
SAT I or ACT scores. Becker College’s CEEB code is 3079.
One letter of recommendation, which attests to the applicant’s individual qualifications. Becker College recognizes that all students are individuals and will consider each applicant’s personal strengths and achievements. Any other supporting materials that are submitted will be considered.
Optional essay on any topic, approximately 250-500 words in length.
Applicants whose GPA falls below a 2.0 or whose curriculum was not entirely college preparatory; will be reviewed on an individual basis. Applicants must submit all the items listed above and two letters of recommendation (one from a guidance counselor); an essay and/or a personal interview.

Our Associate in Arts degree is built on a General Education core that includes 37-41 credit hours. This core was designed for students who want to continue their education at the baccalaureate level.
