The School of Nursing and Allied Health offers courses and academic programs that prepare graduates for careers in nursing, clinical lab studies, and medical and radiologic technology.
Founded in 1942, Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) is an independent nonsectarian institution of higher education offering high-quality, career-oriented undergraduate and graduate programs. Graduation from an accredited B.S.N. program.
Undergraduate grade point ratio (GPR) of 3.00 or higher.
Registered nurse licensure.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Undergraduate prerequisites, including courses in health assessment, statistics and nursing research.
A personal interview may be required.

The graduate curriculum in nursing is designed to serve those who desire to study advanced nursing rooted in explicit nursing knowledge as a guide to various roles.
The Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) program prepares individuals as adult nurse practitioners for primary care, psychiatric mental-health nurse practitioners, clinical nurse leaders, forensic nurses, nurse information systems specialists or as nurse educators.
Advanced scholarship takes place within the context of nursing as a discipline and profession and is the guiding theme of all activities encompassed within the learning environment.
